It’s apparently Disney circa 2009 all over again!
Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas announced last year the two former Disney stars would be touring together this summer on The Future Now Tour.
Now, Selena Gomez and Joe Jonas have taken to Snapchat and Instagram to reveal a very similar announcement.
On her Snapchat, Selena gave us a quick tour of her new apartment, and when she headed to her bedroom, we were quite surprised.
Who did we find inside? None other than Joe Jonas and the other members of the new band DNCE.
In the video, Selena acts just as surprised as we were to find them in her room.
You can hear her ask, “did you just say we’re touring,” which is followed by screams of confirmation.
The next Snapchat clip shows Joe holding up his phone snapchatting the impromptu party as well as they dance to DNCE’s hit song “Cake by the Ocean.”
Selena wraps up the announcement on her Snapchat by saying
“Basically what I’m saying is DNCE is going to open up for me on tour. NOW, get out of my bed.”
Jonas confirmed the social media tour announcement by posting this photo on his Instagram:
Joe took the social media announcement one step further by compiling his Snapchats and Selena’s for a comprehensive look at the big announcement:
DNCE is made up of lead singer Jonas, Jack Lawless (former drummer for The Jonas Brothers), Cole Whittle on the bass guitar and keyboard, and guitarist JinJoo Lee.
Now that Selena and Joe are touring together, and Demi and Nick are touring together, the world is really just waiting on Miley Cyrus and Kevin Jonas to team up!
Then, we will have an OFFICIAL 2009 Disney Channel Reunion.
Selena’s Revival Tour kicks off in Las Vegas on May 6th and ends July 9th in Anaheim, California.
